All requests or confirmations for officials must come through the Referee in Chief (RIC). This is to include notifications or cancellations of games in accordance with the VIMLC Operating Policy. Please be advised that the officials are only to accept game assignments from either the Ref Allocator or the RIC.
Although there are many new and returning young officials, we will be challenged to provide more senior and experienced officials for the higher level games. In all circumstances our very best will be done in order to provide the most suitable individuals for each game. At times, this may require the services of officials from other associations.
All other concerns regarding officiating are to be address to the RIC. The RIC can be contacted by email. All formal complaints must be addressed to the RIC in writing. The RIC will provide the complainant with a written response.
The Head Coach may submit an evaluation on a referee through the BCLA website. Head Coach - Referee Evaluation . This is available to all head coaches. We welcome both positive and negative reviews. Try to keep your comments objective and constructive whether these are positive comments or suggestions for improvement.
