Concerns and Complaints

One of your main responsibilities is to take the concern of dealing with parents away from the coach to allow him/her to concentrate on coaching the players.  If there are issues related to the player & the game of lacrosse then they should be directed to the coach.   If there are serious concerns regarding the conduct of a coach it should be reported to the Head Coach as soon as possible.   Use the 24 hour rule.  Do not come to the manager immediately after a game, emotions are high and people have a tendancy to say something they really don’t mean.  After a cooling down period, recommended 24 hours, then if there is still a concern, approach the manager, never the coach.
